So let's start fixing your Airpods!
- Clean it!
Yes, you heard me right, the first step first, clean it, in and out, don’t use cotton, use a microfiber cloth if you can, cotton buds can eventually leave more lint inside it and that can cause further issues. Make sure to clean this sensor with a pin as well, it helps AirPods to detect if they are in your ear or not!
2. Re-pair
So second is to repair your AirPods, sometimes that works well, to do that, go inside your device’s Bluetooth settings, look for your Airpod, click on the “i” button, and then forget this device. Now on your AirPods, open the lid, click the button on the back for 15 seconds and wait for it the lights to turn white, then connect it with your device and it should work!
3. Reset network settings
Open settings, click on general, scroll to reset, inside reset, click on reset network settings. This with the second method repeated after that should make things working.
4. Disable in-ear setting
If then also it's not working, try disabling the automatic ear detection setting, to do this, simply open Bluetooth, click on “i” while Airpod is connected, disable automatic ear detection and this should do.
5. Charge it to 100% after doing all the above
Sometimes charging the AirPods to 100% or for 30 minutes does work after all these settings are done.
